STARTING MAY 31st!!
Old Testament heroes are best known for their most celebrated moments:
Moses dividing the Red Sea; David slaying Goliath; Gideon routing an insurmountable army; Joshua marching around the defiant walls of Jericho.
And Elijah--calling down fire on Mount Carmel. Blinded by the remarkable narratives of our biblical heroes, we can forget they each had a backstory--months and years of development, even difficulty, which fortified their spiritual muscle and prepared them for the tasks that made their lives unforgettable.
Join Hills Church Women of Worth leader, Daneen Horne, in this 7-session journey through the life and times of the prophet Elijah to discover how the fire on Mount Carmel was forged in the valley of famine. And how the emboldened, fiery faith you desire is being fashioned by God in your life right now.
Women of Worth focuses on bringing Women together to encourage, enhance and empower them through the Word of God to take their positions as the Daughters of the King. To walk in the power and authority the Lord has given them to bring freedom to those held captive, to restore beauty for ashes as women from all walks of life come together in the unity of Christ.
Proverbs 31:31 says “Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring”.
If you have been searching all your life for something that seems to evade you, if you have diligently pursued success and all of its many trappings and still there is an aching inside that reminds you something is missing, I would like to recommend the only thirst quencher that can satisfy the longing of the human soul, His name is Jesus. His arms are stretched wide, His voice is calm, His wisdom is stable, His counsel is sure and He will hold you through the night.
Proverbs 31:10 says “A woman of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.”
It is time for you to open yourself to knowing Him in a deeper way than you have ever known Him before. He is more than a weekly visitation to a stone building that we call a church. He is more than the historical perspective we find the leather-bound book we call a Bible. He is more than a morsel of bread and a small cup of wine we call communion. He is the epitome of life. He is the central force from which all things emerge. “By Him all things consist” (Col. 1:17).
WOW meets the every Wednesday – 10:00am or 6:30pm at Hills Church in the Fellowship Hall. 2 Civic Circle, Beverly Hills, FL 34465.
